Talk about heavyweights. This year’s 11th annual Starkey Hearing Foundation’s So the World May Hear gala July 24 in St. Paul will feature headliner Miley Cyrus and honoree President Bill Clinton.
Other singers include Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Kevin Costner & Modern West and Meat Loaf, one of Donald Trump’s favorites. Another of his recent "Celebrity Apprentice" contestants, Marlee Matlin, also will be honored at the Rivercentre. For more info, click here.
Daughtry has been added to the Mystic Lake Casino amphitheater schedule on July 15. Tickets, priced from $25 to $55, will go on sale June 17. Also booked for the new 8,000-seat amphitheater are Jason Mraz July 3, Diamond Rio July 4, INXS July 28, Big & Rich July 29 and Beach Boys July 31.
St. Vincent’s "Strange Mercy" arrives Sept. 13.... Bjork’s "Biophilia" will be released as a conventional album and as an "app album."
