Deal was made with Exclusive Media Group, which is producing with the pic's screenwriter Allan Loeb and his Scarlet Fire Entertainment partner Steven Pearl, and Tish Cyrus. TWC's Harvey Weinstein and David Glasser and Peter Lawson made the deal with Exclusive co-chairmen Guy East and Nigel Sinclair. CAA arranged financing for the film and repped the sale.
Cyrus plays a young girl who is hired by the FBI to go undercover at a college sorority. She's a tough streetwise private detective who has to become a refined sophisticated university girl to protect the daughter of a former mobster. Exclusive fully financed and is selling worldwide sales, brokering most territories in Berlin last week.
"We're excited to be working with Miley Cyrus as she transitions from child phenomenon to grown-up star," TWC's Glasser said in a statement. "She's got charisma and talent to burn."
