The women will have a lot to ask him about since he said he feared for daughter Miley’s future and he lambasted ”Hannah Montana,” the Disney Channel show that made her a star.
“The damn show destroyed my family,” Billy Ray told GQ. (He, of course, co-starred on the show.)
Billy Ray is divorcing his wife, Tish, and he told GQ that he should have been stricter with Miley.
“I’m scared for her,” Billy Ray told GQ about his daughter. “She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.”
How probing will “The View” be? How frank will Billy Ray be? What did he think of Miley on “Saturday Night Live”? It should make for interesting television on ABC, which is also owned by Disney. “The View” airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9.
The guest list for ”The View” next week:
Monday: Director Tom Shadyac (“I Am”).
Tuesday: Taye Diggs (ABC’s “Private Practice”).
Wednesday: Oscar winner Marisa Tomei, who is promoting “The Lincoln Lawyer”; a performance from Michael Flatley (“Lord of the Dance 3-D”).
Thursday, March 17: musical guest Steve Martin.
