Miley is Set To Perform at The Trevor Live Event

The Trevor Project will honor Lady Gaga with the Trevor Hero Award and Google Inc with the Trevor 2020 Award during “Trevor Live” at the Hollywood Palladium on December 4. The annual show benefits the life-saving work of The Trevor Project, a recent honoree of the White House as a Champion of Change for leadership and innovation in suicide prevention.


“Our young people are at the center of a health crisis, and vocal leaders like Lady Gaga and technology leaders like Google Inc have stepped up to help change our culture,” said David McFarland, Interim Executive Director and CEO of The Trevor Project. “Our honorees are working with The Trevor Project to make a better today and a brighter tomorrow for youth. We are proud to honor Lady Gaga with the Trevor Hero Award and Google Inc with the Trevor 2020 award for their work to help young people express their true selves with pride.”

Miley's 19th Birthday

Miley Cyrus celebrated her 19th birthday the night of November 22 at Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel, reports E! Online. Liam Hemsworth, Mommy Tish, Brandi and others attended the private party at Beacher's Madhouse club. A unicorn was spotted strolling around outside the event.

Miley covered Bob Dylan's 'You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go' on an album to be released in January to benefit Amnesty International, reports AP. The disc is being released to commemorate Amnesty International's 50th birthday.

Among the other participating artists: Adele, Cage the Elephant, Dave Matthews Band, Ziggy Marley, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, Patti Smith, Sting, Pete Townshend, the Gaslight Anthem and Ke$ha. Eighty artists and 75 new songs are included.

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato are AMA No-Shows

Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato did not attend the 2011 American Music Awards. Both girls skipped out on the event, which was a bit surprising to their fans. Demi had a break in her tour schedule tonight, but it’s unknown why she didn’t go to the show. Miley is supposedly in Los Angeles, but she didn’t make it out either.
Demi Lovato’s album Unbroken did fairly well this year, and even though Miley hasn’t released any new music as of late 2010, it’s a bit strange that she didn’t make an appearance. With Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and other young stars on board for the show, it’s almost expected that Demi and Miley would attend… however, that was not the case.
Both Miley and Demi were at the 2010 American Music Awards. 
2012 is going to be a big year for Miley, and I’m sure we’ll see her at tons of award shows.

Miley Cyrus Defends Weight Girls Around The World

Miley Cyrus was picked apart by several media outlets on Thursday for her “fuller figure” which is basically their nice way of saying that she’s gained weight. The teen queen was spotted wearing a shawl of some sort and the camera caught her looking less than flattering… and you know what that means… insulting headlines.
Miley Cyrus took to her Twitter account on Friday night to stick up for herself and for girls around the world. “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people. I love MYSELF and if you could say the same,” Miley tweeted along with a photo of a sickly thin female.
The singer is absolutely correct, and she had every right to call out the media. She has a slammin’ body and as much as you may have thought she looked “heavier” in those photos, she probably hasn’t gained one pound. With all the years that have gone by, you’d think that people would stop noticing weight loss and gain and focus on the talent that is out there. The media is obsessed with the superficial, and it’s literally killing people.
In related news: Miley was asked by NOH8 Campaign to do a photoshoot for them! She tweeted she’d love to do it so we can’t wait to see! There’s a photoshopped NOH8 picture of Miley already which you can see above, it looks great (even though the original photo is Kim Kardashian) so the real photoshoot of Miley will look even better! ;)

Hackers of Miley's Pic Let Off With Probation

Josh Holly, the self-confessed Miley Cyrus hacker, has avoided jail for unrelated computer crimes, receiving three years’ probation at a sentencing hearing on Monday.
Holly, 22, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, pleaded guilty last April to possessing about 200 stolen credit card numbers as well as running a celebrity MySpace pages spam scam that earned him an estimated $100,000. Holly was spared jail time because he’d agreed to inform on his former hacking cohorts to the FBI. Defence arguments that he was a “first-time offender of immature mental age,” may also have counted in his favour.
We doubt the bizarre defence contention that Holly’s diminutive height made him unsuitable for the Big House cut any ice with the judge. Holly stands at 5 feet 6 inches, 1.68m, or the same height as celebrated oil-rig firefighter Paul “Red” Adair.
Holly (AKA TrainReq) boasted in 2008 that he had cracked the Gmail account of Miley Cyrus and stole provocative pictures of the then 15-year-old before posting them online. The Hannah Montana star supposedly sent the sexually suggestive pics – which featured the teen in a wet T-shirt – to singer Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers before Holly raided them from the compromised account. He was never charged with this particular crime but was instead arrested and charged over unrelated cyberscams, following an FBI raid on his flat in October 2008.

Miley Cyrus’ 2012 Theatrical Remake Film, “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” Is Out Of Post-Production.

The film, started production on July 16, 2010 and later finished filming and went to post-production on Sept. 14, 2010. After a year and two weeks of the film being in post production, the film is finally completed (editing/visual) and now can be sent to theatrical cinemas world-wide — by Lionsgate choice.

The ‘LOL’ remake stars Miley Cyrus alongside Ashley Greene & Demi Moore.

The story [based on the original 'LOL'] follows a world connected by YouTube iTunes, and Facebook, Lola and her friends navigate the peer pressures of high school romance and friendship while dodging their sometimes overbearing and confused parents.

In other news — After producers released a statement saying they are aiming for a Spring-2012 release for ‘LOL‘, more dates seem to speculate.
