Miley Cyrus LOL And So Undercover Release Dates Right Now
While no official information has come out yet from the distributors about release dates for So Undercover and LOL in the US there are release dates listed in other countries at IMDb. They still list LOL as just 2011 and So Undercover as October 2011 for a US release
The rest of the release dates are as follows:
LOL
UK October 21, 2011
Hungary March 29, 2012
So Undercover:
Turkey: October 21, 2011
Netherlands December 8, 2011
Based on just the release dates in these other countries we are going to venture to say that both movies are going to be released in at least the first two weeks of October. Usually US releases precede UK releases unless they decide to roll the movie out worldwide at the same time.
There has been very little promotion of both of these movies outsite a few news site and fan sites to speak of. We hope this does not hurt the movies at the box office when they are released.
Are you guys anxious to see these movies?

Miley Cyrus and Joan Jett Rock It Out on 'Oprah'
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" episode which featured Miley Cyrus has finally aired Wednesday night, April 13. Instead of sitting for an in-depth interview with Oprah Winfrey, the teen songstress channeled her inner rock star and performed with Joan Jett.
The "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" movie beauty rocked out with the former member of all-girl band The Runaways, singing a medley of "Bad Reputation", "Cherry Bomb" and "I Hate Myself (For Loving You)". Miley served as the lead singer, while Joan strummed her guitar.
"It's something that's always meant something to me, just seeing Joan stand up for chicks who want to play the guitar," Miley told Oprah. The former Disney star auditioned for the Mouse House "Hannah Montana" with Joan's classic "I Love Rock 'n' Roll".
Oprah dedicated the recent episode of her talk show to the Rock Goddesses of the 70's and 80's. It featured appearances from the likes of Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Pat Benatar and Avril Lavigne.

LOL star, Tanz Watson speaks highly of Miley
Source: lolthefilm.wordpress.comLOLTheFilm: What was it like working with Demi Moore, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Greene and the rest of the cast?Tanz Watson: It’s like living a dream, in real life. 3 of the biggest female actresses in the world who are also 3 of the nicest/coolest girls you will ever meet. Got 3 great new friends and couldn’t be happier.LOLTheFilm: What inspired or motivated you to get into acting?Tanz Watson: Before I started I was huge in basketball. That was my goal, to play in the NBA. When I serious back injury I began modeling. Which was a great way to start, with the traveling and meeting of different people. I landed a commercial and It gave me the acting bug. I loved being in front of the camera and creating. I’m a very competitive person, and I take a basketball menality into acting as I want to be the best, and do the best job, and don’t mind competing for a role I want.LOLTheFilm: Who did you hang out with the most while on set, filming LOL?Tanz Watson: I was very blessed that I became geniune friends with everyone on the cast. I was the least experienced, and no one looked down or treated me differently, which was really cool. With that said, I would say Adam and I were the cloeset on set. We hung out all the time, to the point that it was strange to see us not with each other, lol. We stayed next to each other in the hotel, We did different movie skits at random times thoughout the day, and one time got a security to think we were really serious, and he called the cops – lol.
LOLTheFilm: What can we expect to see when LOL hits theaters later this year?Tanz Watson: You can expect to see a cast that really did it’s best shooting this movie. You can expect to see, love, laughing, friendships, relationships, and partying. You can also see some of the new stars like “Ashley Hinshaw, Douglas Booth, George Finn, Tanz Watson, Douglas Booth” grow and become better actors working along side such tremendous actors. You will see the best mix of known actors and upcoming fresh faces.LOLTheFilm: What are some of your favorite actor and/or actresses?Tanz Watson: Whenever anyone has asked me what actor inspires or who I want to be like, I would always say I want to be the first Tanz Watson. That said without question I’m motivated and inspired but many. Will Smith is my favorite actor and the only actor I would want to have a career like. He said ” having A plan B is only taking away from plan A” and it really hits you when the biggest actor in the world, still loves competing and being the best, and making sure everything is perfect, even if it wouldn’t matter. Miley also inspires me, she at the time was 17 when I met her. There isn’t a 17 year old I know/met that could spend a day in her shoes. From all the media, to work, to just “The Miley Cyrus” brand. She is beyond amazing and does the best job you could do. Always professional and never could question her love or perfection for work or her fans.LOLTheFilm: What was it like traveling to Paris to shoot LOL?Tanz Watson: Going to Paris was the icing on the “best cake ever” – I get this amazing opportunity to film a leading role, with amazing people, and than they tell us we are also filming in Paris. The smile that I had on my face was priceless. Paris is a city that not only did I love, I could def live in. The buildings and artifacts are breath taking. The rich history and food are priceless. The people are amazing. I remember they would wait outside our hotel, for Miley and Ashley Greene, and Adam, but would go crazy for you to talk to them They truly love people and embraced us.
LOLTheFilm: What do you have to say for those who want to sing, dance, or act?Tanz Watson: I love creating, and from someone who plans to release music and create with dance or anything else, I say Make it happen Too many people have regrets. If your dream is to be an entertainer. You should go for it. BUT! Also know its not easy, and it doesn’t happen overnight. I was very blessed with great timing and people helping me. Usually first roles aren’t lead roles in movies with huge names, but sometimes that happenes. For me, it was being prepared, focus, and have no other option but to succeed mentality.

Nora Dunn on 'LOL'
Windy City Times: Hello, Nora. I haven't talked to you in a while. Where are calling me from?
Nora Dunn: I am in L.A. Let me take my jacket off.
WCT: Must be nice. I am freezing here in your hometown of Chicago.
Nora Dunn: I have to say that I loved the blizzard. I don't like being shut in for long but I did like it.
WCT: That makes one of us. What are you doing in Los Angeles?
Nora Dunn: I am out here to audition for TV stuff and work on my theatrical reel. The guys I work with here are going to download it and put it on to DVD. Uh, oh; there is a man walking my way in pajamas. He can go from the house, to the store, then right to the red carpet!
WCT: Oh, Hollywood. Do people recognize you on the street?
Nora Dunn: Not here; they are looking for bigger fish.
WCT: This new movie you are in called Certifiably Jonathan sounds interesting. How did you get involved with it?
Nora Dunn: It turned out to be a great thing. I made it years ago back in 2007. I had a fax from my manager that two guys are making a movie with Jonathan Winters and they wanted other comedians involved in it. He is so funny. He did all that great improv and characters. I just thought he was so funny when I was little. There are a lot of comedians doing cameos but Jonathan will be the first to tell you that he works alone!
WCT: [Laughs] He is very funny.
Nora Dunn: He is not the straight man. The scene that I like of me in the movie is when I am just laughing at him.
WCT: Is it a documentary?
Nora Dunn: They have little words for these things. I guess you would call it a mockumentary. It is a documentary in a way, though. It documents his career. He is a very interesting artist. A lot of the movie is about his paintings. They animated the paintings. They are very witty and dark which is how his humor is. Then they fabricated a story where he is in a men's room in a park, a witch doctor came in and stole his sense of humor. Without his sense of humor he can't work.
WCT: There are a lot of funny people in the flick.
Nora Dunn: You know, Jonathan doesn't even need to work with anyone else. He is a human jukebox in a way. He is the originator of true improvisation. He can go from one thing to the next. You can give him a ketchup bottle. He called me one night and said he was in a refrigerator, that his wife had locked him in and was in there with all the condiments. He did a whole routine about that.
WCT: That's wacky.
Nora Dunn: They have some wonderful footage of him on the Jack Paar show where they just gave him a stick and he went with it. He is silly and crazy. That is how I describe him.
WCT: I always think of him as the son of Mork & Mindy.
Nora Dunn: I think Robin Williams is Jonathan Winters on fast forward.
WCT: Well put. You have a few movies coming out this year.
Nora Dunn: I did a fun movie with Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus called LOL. It is a remake of a French movie and the director rewrote the whole movie for America. I loved the set design. It had a European look to it. There were a lot of good shoots in the movie with really good actors. We shot it up in Detroit.
WCT: I thought they shot some of it here in Chicago.
Nora Dunn: They came down in to do some of it Illinois. I think it is set in the North Shore, in a Wilmette kind of area.
WCT: I know this because Demi went out to the gay bar Hydrate after the shooting that night.
Nora Dunn: Really? How cool! She is a great girl. I like her.
WCT: How does she stay looking so young? Must be that young boyfriend…
Nora Dunn: She is just a youthful person. She looks great. She has that gravelly sexy voice. She has a lot of spirit that one. I didn't get to work with her. We just talked. My scenes were with children.
WCT: You also did a movie called Frankie goes Boom.
Nora Dunn: I just heard today that it has a really good buzz already. I know this movie is going to be funny. It's Chris O'Dowd and Charlie Hunnam; Chris Noth is in it also. It's wild. I had to just let go. It is about an inappropriate dysfunctional family.
WCT: I heard Ron Perlman is playing a transsexual in it and had to shave off all of his body hair!
Nora Dunn: [Laughs] Yeah.
WCT: That I gotta see! Are you still doing a lot of television shows?
Nora Dunn: I did the show Psych, which I liked a lot. I was the manager of an amusement park. I also played a lawyer on The Defenders. The pinnacle of my career is that I played a judge, finally, on Harry's Law. My agent said, "It's a good role." Then I know I am in trouble! It was a thankless role.
WCT: You got to channel your inner Judge Judy?
Nora Dunn: Well, I wish. I played a judge once in a movie with Pierce Brosnan. It was really fun and a real character. When you play them on TV you just say lines like "I will hear that." And "No, you are out of order." It is not a real person. If you have a lot of talent then you can make it that. I have a lot of adversity to committing to a main character in a series. If something was great I would crave it and want it. I haven't seen too many things that I love since Glee.
WCT: I was thinking that show would be great for you.
Nora Dunn: I would like a crack at it sometime. It will be on for a while. My claim to fame is I am still working!

Miley Cyrus’ Pot Smoking Scene Edited Out Of LOL
It is being reported that after the bong scandal broke that the producers of the film LOL decided to edit out Miles’ scene where it depicted her smoking pot.
“The scene can’t be reshot,” the source explains. Instead, using “tricky editing and effects magic, they are erasing all traces of her inhaling or being in the same shot with the actor.”
”The studio doesn’t want to take any chances having the controversy affect the film,” says the insider
Do you guys think that this is a good idea that they did this?

Miley Cyrus’ Sex Scene In LOL Blown Out Of Proportion
Before anyone had seen Miles’ movie LOL, the critics were all over it about Miles getting naked for a sex scene in the film and just blew it completely up to almost scandalous proportions. We are happy to report that the scene that people criticized Miles over is by all respects a tame scene just involving some kissing and maybe a little making out according to the people that were able to go to the screening yesterday.
So Miley did not get naked in this flick as was the claim and have a raunchy sex scene. We hope that clears that up and we really can’t wait to see this movie. What about you guys?

Ashley Greene talks about Miley Cyrus & LOL
The interviewer asked between all of the Twilight and Miley hoopla going on, if they had to deal with a lot of paparazzi and other people around outside the set. In response, she said, “Miley is a phenomenon – she’s accomplished so much in the movie, TV and music worlds that it’s not surprising how much attention was attracted during filming. But we’re both professional and understand that we’re there to do our jobs. Work was our number one priority, and everything else was background.”
The interviewer said, “You’ve become a fashion icon in young Hollywood, and your LOL character has a distinctive fashion style. Did you get to pick out any of your outfits? Keep anything? Become inspired by any of those looks?” Ashley said, “I definitely have a say in them, but it’s more about what fits my character than me personally. In LOL, my character, Ashley, wears some pretty outrageous and provocative outfits that I’d never wear in real life! With Alice Cullen, we got to draw on Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O inspirations, which is a bit more me.”
