Fergie is showing that she can take a joke in stride after Miley Cyrus made fun of her and the Black Eyed Peas during a skit on SNL.
During the show, Cyrus portrayed a gyrating, limelight-stealing Fergie who crashes a talk show hosted by the two lesser known members of the Black Eyed Peas, Taboo (Andy Samberg) and apl.d.ap (Kenan Thompson). PICTURES: Josh and Fergie's Night Out!
RumorFix caught up with Fergie on Thursday night and asked her about the skit. "Oh, I loved it! You know, I thought it was funny," the singer revealed.
Fergie did, however, have issue with her lesser known group members being portrayed as unimportant. "For apl and Tab, obviously - it's not cool, but I think [Miley] did a great job. She was funny. She did a great job singing. PICTURES: Fergie Performs At Miami Dolphins Game
And just to make sure we got the point, Fergie proclaimed, "I love Miley!" before being whisked away.
Saturday Night Live was strange this week. It was actually pretty awesome. Not only was it a good week for topical humor, thanks to an injection of tiger blood, but the writers actually seemed to know how to write for the host. It probably also didn't hurt that Miley Cyrus seems totally game for anything that seems like good clean fun, whether it's Biebering it up or making fun of herself and her dad. For all of you SNL apologists out there, this is your proof that the show can be awesome, even if it has to rely on fake celebrity talk shows and fake commercials most of the time. Of course, even Miley couldn't save every sketch.

Thanks to the cold open, we are forced to ask ourselves just why it is that Charlie Sheen doesn't have his own talk show yet, considering the amount of time he spent on everyone else's last week. It's just too bad they couldn't get Jimmy Fallon to be Sheen instead of Bill Hader, but at least there's a nod to our previous favorite celebrity, Gary Busey.
Best: Miley's Monologue
Song and dance numbers in the monologue are usually overdone and feel like they last way too long, but Miley kept it short and sweet. It also doesn't hurt that she can actually sing.
Best: Disney Channel Acting School
This sketch could have been awesome any week with Vanessa Bayer playing her Miley character, but Miley herself already has every Disney Channel nuance down so well that she makes even looking at a watch in disbelief funny.
Worst: Beastly
Has our love affair with Andy Samberg ended? There's so much to poke fun at Beastly about, and instead he just went with a strange Napoleon Dynamite/Gene Hackman(?) man-child character? It's like he wasn't even trying.
Best: The Miley Cyrus Show
One of the best reoccurring sketches already, this week it feel like it could have been a real show in Fringe's parallel world.
Best: Our Time
And we thought we were the only ones who wondered why these guys were in the Black Eyed Peas. Bonus: Abby Elliott's Khloe Kardashian impression, which is only marginally less annoying (albeit intentionally) than the real thing. And where can get a subscription to Vaguely Asian Monthly magazine?
Worst: Cruise Ship Entertainer
As generic as the people it was making fun of, this is the only time all night Miley sang too much.

Some of you may hate this clip, but only because it's on SNL. Surreal, and with some far-out expressions and big hair on Miley and Kristen Wiig, the combination of products is never explained, nor can it be.
Fans of 'Saturday Night Live' got a special treat this weekend when Miley Cyrus hit the stage at 30 Rock to deliver one of the best episodes in recent memory. You read that right, folks!
The reviews (and numbers) are in, and Cyrus is a hit. Not only did the teen starlet prove she has a sense of humor about herself, mocking her now-infamous salvia-bong debacle, she also strapped on a wig to play a certain teen heartthrob in what EW is calling the "best impersonation of the night."

At "bong," Cyrus briefly stopped the song, put her hand to her ear and then began waving to the audience, who burst out into wild applause. The song and applause break seemed to indicate that Cyrus, rightly, isn't interested in groveling for forgiveness for behaving like a teenager -- one who did nothing illegal. Good for her!
The singer then went on to stop by 'The Miley Cyrus Show,' a recurring 'SNL' sketch, but she didn't play who you'd think. 'SNL' featured player Vanessa Bayer has been doing a great job of parodying Cyrus all season, leaving the 'Party in the U.S.A.' songbird to take on a different singer: Justin Bieber. According to EW, "Cyrus had Bieber's trying-too-hard hip-hop mannerisms down cold."
She also had some fun with her former employers at Disney and 'Hannah Montana,' in a sketch called "Disney Channel Acting School," where she and 'SNL' regular Kenan Thompson -- playing Raven-Symone -- gave aspiring young actors and actresses lessons in what it takes to be a Disney star, including "loudness," "disrespecting authority," the "pause then dis" technique and "reacting to stinky feet."
Cyrus' turn on 'SNL' brought the NBC late-night staple its second highest ratings of the season, trailing only a Jan. 8 broadcast that benefited from a NFL playoff game lead-in. According to preliminary numbers, the broadcast led the night among adults ages 18-49, the demographic most coveted by advertisers, besting all prime-time programming from ABC, Fox and CBS, and giving the broadcast an 8 percent boost over the same night last year.
In the preliminary numbers Saturday Night Live hosted by Miley Cyrus with musical guest The Strokes tied its second highest rating of the season with adults 18-49 with a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with Local People Meters. That trails only the January 8 telecast which was boosted by having an NFL playoff game as its lead in.
That’s also 10% better than the preliminary 3.0 18-49 rating for the show hosted by Russell Brand with musical guest Chris Brown on February 12. As has typically been the case (other than the aforementioned NFL playoff game), SNL was the number one show of the night with adults 18-49, bettering everything in primetime.

Miley Cyrus has been going through a lot lately, particularly with her public drama involving her father. Despite her troubles, the 18-year-old is still maintaining a sense of humor. HollywoodLife.com has learned the singer wants to take part in “The Miley Cyrus Show” when she hosts Saturday Night Live on March 5.
“The Miley Cyrus Show”, starring newcomer Vanessa Bayer, has been a big hit on SNL this season. Miley has complimented the sketch before saying, “I’m a big fan [...] it’s good humor — it’s funny but it’s nice, they never make you look bad.”
An SNL source tells us Miley is now interested in participating in the show! “Miley comes in for rehearsals next week which is when she will officially sign off on the ideas the writers present to her,” explains our insider. “There have already been discussions about her interest in doing a skit with Vanessa parodying her. She is really looking forward to it.”
